BROWN,ORANGE AND RED

The leaves that fall to the ground, and crumble crisp all around.
In the air you can smell the changes of the season.
And while walking, the crunching  underneath your shoes was the only sound.
The color changes is so beautiful,it gives me a reason..

I continue walking just to see how pretty the earth can be,
The neighborhoods get silent early,as the time change begins.
Wood burning in the air,i love to inhale it in.
In the fall, apples ,pumpkins, and jellies, jams galore.
Fall feastivals begin, who could ask for more.

Its my favorite time of year, its a harvest of many things.
And a time for changing,it can be the greatest time just to wear a sweater.
It seemed like fall was the time for a new boyfriend.
School would start, and and a new guy would come into my life, and be over and the end of the year,as summer came to life.

Now a grown woman, its still the best of times.
A new pair of jeans, sweater and some boots.
Looking  through the rummage sales.
For something so cute.
Still around the time of seven at night.
In the fall, all the porch lights.
Show the colors ,all so bright.
Brown,Orange,Red,the smell of wood burning
While i do the dishes, getting ready to go to bed.

the thing that we all take for granted is sight! It is so amazing to be able to see the beauty that the Almighty God has given us with sight. THIS IS POERTY! Poetry isn't abiout ryhmes, or grammer, Its about what you feel and how you put your thoughts to paper. well done Ms Cheri! 5000 Yellow, Orange,Red Stars./lol

Wonderful reflections of the changes of autumn and the changes of life. Filled with great memories and great images and great reality (The dishes still have to get done!).

Cheri, I don't consider myself to be a 'professional' writer. My poems are fun, simple and childlike. I imitate Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein. My classic joke is that when it comes to grammar I'm much 'gooder' at math.
