Seemed like only yesterday since we met At the time I was only a school child A time of which I will not soon forget T’was a time when we were young, free and wild In a past life you had to be my twin The same views yet contrasting behavior O sweet contrast as the yang to my yin No other friendship could seem diviner Please let me be the sister of your heart All my loyalty to you is promised Forever I care for you and won’t part Not even during times at the coldest I hope this friendship lasts and never ends Because we are meant to be as best friends
