Dear Poetry.com members. This is Robin Loving's (Lovingempath) sister. She is in the hospital. After a fall last Saturday, which resulted in surgery to repair a badly damaged tibia and fibula, she was further diagnosed with congestive heart failure. She is being looked after and will hopefully receive care instructions that will keep her with us for as long as possible. However, we would appreciate all of your prayers. I really connected with the soul of the writer on this piece. I too have had a few holidays that devastated me to the core.

I am a believer that a poem should move us. The author's fragile pain screams out to me from this piece of poetry. I cried.
