Whatever Happened to the Outhouse?

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE OUTHOUSE?

Whatever happened to the Outhouse,
With the seat all rough and cold!
The one that had the roughly hewed door,
With the latch that would never hold!

And there replacing the Charmin,
Was yesterday’s Daily...

Strangely enough, it was the last line that resonated with me. In fact, I think it is worthy of a poem itself! I read this, then went on to read others and yet I came back to this one. I feel remiss in knowing I will not have the time to read them all :-( and I should have started sooner. Next time I will. My apologies to my colleagues I short changed! :-(
