you dont have to hear it to know it

I have said ‘I love you’ plenty of times
I said ‘I love you’ when
I gave you doodles drawn on scraps of paper
Told you I liked your hair even when it fell over your eyes and itched your neck
Held onto the handle of your old backpack in the halls...
