I am 55 years old. I grew up on a hundred acre farm with my Mom and step dad, who later adopted me and my younger brother, and 4 of my older step siblings and my younger half sister, who my mom and step dad had after him and my mom got married. Both my mom and adopted dad are deceased. My biological dad and stepmom are still alive, and I have 7 step siblings on that side. So I do have a big family. I have a lot of nieces and nephews, I lost count of how many. I am married.I have been married, then widowed, remarried,divorced and remarried. I do not have kids, but I have step children that treat me like a mom to them and who I love very much. My husband and I lost contact with each other around 1994, then ran into each other in 2009 after all those years, then got married in December 2011. I am a recent Breast Cancer Survivor. I have been through a lot in my life, some good, some bad, but I believe that the things I went through has helped me to be the person I am today. I do like to write poetry occasionally. I started writing poems after my first husband passed away. I do like to try to make my poems related to life experiences. I do have a few that are related to losing a loved one. I would like to some day to have my poems published or to make a book of my poems.
