I have been writing since I was eight years born & raised in northern new jersey. After having two near-death experiences and losing my passion for writing poetry, my daughter, girlfriend, and my grade school teacher got me back into the art of words. I remember a conversation that I had with my teacher. He told me the jocks might get the girls now but keep writing poetry because the words will get the words the girls once the jocks are old and fat later. Now I have the love of my life due to the poem I left on her car windshield. P.S. The poem The PROPOSAL was a success. She said yes, so the teacher was right."I THINK MY WORDS KNOW YOU" Poetry.com. SHOWER

I can not sleep for the second night, so I pace back and forth. I drink warm milk and shower cold, but I still can not get this thought out of my head, which stands right before my mind. I want to holler and scream, but life is just a dream.

LIONS DEN

Will I ever be the hero that I was sent to be
I sit on the mountain, looking down, not making a single sound. Strangeness covers me like the clouds cover the sky. I ask myself, who is meant to be saved and why? What do the gods see that I do not

WHERE YOU ARE

Where do I set my feet and rest my tired head?
Words go half-spoken when they are waiting to be said, the words of truth and lies and children's sweet lullabies chasing fireflies. Where does the time go? Bless your soul; I will never know.
