The Surfer

On a very cloudy morning I sat on the beach,
With the ocean within my reach.
I wanted to spend some time on my own.
To sit in the sand and be all alone.

I listened to the waves as they crashed to the shore.
I closed my eyes and I listened...

The Gardener

Every morning, as soon as I wake,
I head to my garden with my trusty rake.
I clear the debris and water the soil,
My life as a gardener is a life of toil.

As I water my flowers, I’m planting more seeds,
Then using my hoe to get rid of weeds.

Butterflies By The Pool

On a bright sunny day in quite blistering heat,
I sat near my pool and dipped in my feet.
I wanted to relax and chill there for hours,
Surrounded by water and surrounded by flowers.

All I could hear were the birds when they sing,
An uplifting...

Happiness

I often wish that I could fly.
I'd dance on clouds up in the sky.
Leave all my worries and cares behind.
Happiness is what I would find.

But if I can be happy up in the blue,
Then I can be happy on the ground, too.
You can't find it far and...

When I gaze into your irresistible eyes,
The feelings within me begin to arise.

I tingle all over from my head to my feet.

There’s just something about your eyes.
They’re more beautiful than the...

I love this poem. It paints a vivid picture and the theme resonates with me. I love the use of words such as a gem not knowing it's own value. People can be like that too, they can't see their own value as well. Fantastic poem.

I love this poem. It's tough to read while keeping your eyes dry.
It's beauty is very overwhelming. Tell me why I shouldn't cry.

Inspiring, Randy!
