Not real new to poetry.com, 20 +- years ago wrote some poems that made a book with others, was surprised they don’t do that anymore? Just a middle aged Cowboy, Boss, Co-worker, Father, Grandfather, Lover, best friend to most! Enjoy writing about Love, Death, Great outdoors. Great way to express feelings with the comfort for others to enjoy. Writing is a blessed serenity of calmness! Thanks

The moon rises above the horizon, the beauty of her eyes glimmer, a hint of a smile, warm as mid June.

A cool breeze waves thru the Indian grass glistening like her skin, tan as the fall colors in the morning dew.
