Analysis of I Am Me

I'm not perfect nor will I ever be
Why won't you stop and just listen to me
I'm tired of complaints on who I'am
I'am me and that's all I'll ever be
I'm not fake or full of lies
I don't see a point in making someone cry
Sorry you don't like who I'am
I am me and that's all I'll ever be

I can be your friend you're confidant
The person who cares and lets you rant
I can be here for you through thick and thin
Or help you wipe away your sins
But I'am me and that's all I'll ever be
No need to hide no need to lie
No need to hurt no need to cry
Take my hand
I'll be there to understand
As long as u can accept I am me and that's all I'll ever be
