Analysis of My Angel Gone
My angel came to me the night prior,
her skin aglow with a celestial light,
how captivating, entrancing,
imploring me to change my course of
self-destruction,
her voice - crystalline, pure and pleading,
eyes penetrating me to the very core;
My angel came to me the night prior,
a beauty so much more than skin-deep,
trapped me with her words,
telling me of dreams we built from the
ground,
my path just tore them down,
no words of mine could make her stay,
anything I said would just chase her away;
I continued down my path,
disregarding her loving worry,
led my life to my end,
the creature called Death not very far,
my angel gone, my Devil here.
