"The Eye"

Oh well, it has started again
We should pack up our stuff and hurry away
A hurricane is coming
The neighbors start to yell
Is it another Katrina?
Or Irma or Harvey?
Or is it like Matthew or Michael?
Causing very little harm
It starts as a five,
Then a four than a three
Then hits the Atlantic
Roars back up to a five
And then at last we get hit
But as they predicted
It swiveled at the last moment
Back into the sea.

About this poem
