Grateful Breath - A Celebration of Life's Little Gifts
With each breath, I hold gratitude in my heart,
For the little gifts life gives me, unexpected and sweet,
Favorable winds that have brought me so far,
And the moments that have made my soul feel complete.
I know that life is fleeting, and time won't repeat,
So I cherish each instant and let worry depart.
I don't ask for much, but life gives me more,
Each day is a gift, a chance to be alive,
The sun shines bright, the birds sing, and I adore,
The gentle breeze that makes me feel revived.
I am grateful for the little things, as they contrive,
To bring joy and happiness, and I soar.
Life has taught me to appreciate the moment,
To relish the present and forget the past,
To believe in myself, and let go of torment,
To live fully, and not fear the contrast.
With each new experience, my soul is cast,
Into a world of wonder, and I am content.
I don't wait for something more to happen,
For life is happening right here and now,
The little gifts are all around, and I'm not forsaken,
I feel the beauty, and I take a bow.
I trust in the universe, and I take a vow,
To keep cherishing each moment, unshaken.
I am alive, and I know it, and I feel,
The love that surrounds me, and the grace,
Of each little gift that life gives, and it's real,
A precious reminder, in every place.
I embrace the unknown, and I face,
The future with a heart full of zeal.
So let us all be grateful for the gifts,
That life has bestowed upon us, unbidden,
For the chance to live, to love, to lift,
Our souls, and to cherish every hidden,
Moment that comes, and is not forbidden,
Let us live fully, and our spirits uplift.
The world is full of wonder and delight,
A treasure trove of beauty, grand and small,
From the shimmering stars that light up the night,
To the humble flowers that bloom in the fall.
Each little gift, a precious reminder of it all,
To cherish and hold, with all our might.
For life is fleeting, and time won't wait,
We must seize the moment, and let our hearts sing,
Embrace the present, and not hesitate,
To spread our wings, and let our spirits take wing.
With each little gift, our souls will ring,
A chorus of gratitude, and love, innate.
So let us celebrate the power and beauty,
Of the little gifts that life has given,
And live each moment with passion and duty,
To make this world a better place to live in.
For in the end, it's not what we've been given,
But how we've lived that will be our true legacy.
Less worrying, and more believing,
In the power of the little gifts that life brings,
Each one a precious treasure worth retrieving,
A chance to soar on hope's bright wings.
Let us cherish them all, as our hearts sing,
And live life to the fullest, ever achieving.
