"In the Story of Us: Let's Meet Again for the First Time

"In the Story of Us: Let's Meet Again for the First Time"
Once upon a time, in a heart that's been through,
A girl wished for someone loyal and true.
Her past, a heavy load, kept her confined,
Dreaming of meeting someone, a fresh find.

In the quiet moments when she felt alone,
Not wanting loneliness, just a space of her own.
She spotted a man, with a warmth that'd shine,
Wishing to know him, for the first time.

Past hurts held her back, like a ghost in the night,
A barrier to approaching him, in her silent fight.
To be alone, yet not lonely, was her paradigm,
But the man in her gaze seemed like a positive sign.

He carried kindness, a story to unfold,
Her heart whispered, "Could this be the gold?"
Yet, past shadows lingered, a mountain to climb,
Preventing her from meeting him, for the first time.

In the corners where solitude and hope meet,
She pondered on love, with hesitant heartbeats.
To go ahead or step back, in this moment of prime,
Yearning to approach him, for the first time.

Destiny played its cards, their paths crossed one day,
A chance encounter, like a dance in a way.
He, a beacon of hope, in her uphill climb,
She, a character in his story, in perfect rhyme.

The girl's silent plea for loyalty and more,
Echoed through the chambers, unlocking the door.
In vulnerability, a connection did chime,
They met again, like strangers, for the first time.

He, the comfort she sought, she, the peace in his rhyme,
Together, they wrote a story, in simple, sweet time.
In the tale of their union, a love so prime,
They met again, like strangers, for the first time.
