Seekers quest
Is duality in the nature of man, or is it the nature of the divine as well?
For in the ever presence, I see no duality but just the presence of is
It is me that is watching the is makes the duality of the not me
Why can I not embrace that which is not me and thus become one with me?
I am admired for my intellect, and yet I feel such a lack
I grasp and fail to touch the wisps of wisdom that pass by me
I train my mind and I train my spirit to see
What seems like a void and yet is brimming with energy
I am obsessed with intellect and with the mystic
I am obsessed all the time with one or the other
In my obsession I search and seek and learn and suffer
As I move from my sense of duality to the advaita
It must be possible for the human to reach the realms of the divine
Books would not have the wisdom otherwise
What could have made such an amazing journey of the sages
What can I do to make that trek as as the sages of yore
They say it is hard, I fear not the difficulties
They say I may go crazy, I question my sanity every day
They say life is good in this world, it is, but it is not for me
I seek the knowledge that lies beyond
I seek to know everything there is to know
I seek to be the all knowing
If the price I pay is the loss of my body and mind
I will pay the price gladly as long as I cause no one harm
I seek to love and I seek to learn
I seek to heal and I seek to yearn
For in that yearning and in the pain lies my true happiness
For as long as I seek, I know that I live
I know one day I will disappear, my body and my mind
All that will remain is consciousness and the knowing of all that is
I know that will not be me as I am, the trinity of my body and mind and the soul
But I still cannot wait to shed them both, so that I can finally become whole
