Faith Tested

Challenged.
And on a continually basis.
Is the strength of one's faith tested.
Disrespectfully and blatant,
Are the hypocrites.

These days from nowhere they appear.
On and off to switch,
Opinions!
Conveniently to choose which better fits,
To hear heard coming out of their mouths.
Through both sides of twisted lips.
As both eyes search for approval given.

With a doing of this quick to prepare,
For other words better to pick.
Then often excuse the dependable use,
Of claiming to misunderstand...
The subject and atmosphere.
Observing.
Although pretending not to know,
How many agree with one over another.
Confusing a topic selected to discuss.
And...
Which is more beneficial,
To the maintaining and growth...
Of their popularity to keep it noticed.
With it hoped no one,
Pretentiously more knowledgeable.
Or capable to imitate being intelligent.
Perfectly.
Challenges a faking of a kept faith.
To expose this with joyful merriment.
Nor has the desire of making it clear,
Just how big of a fool one wants to prove...
Publicly!

'Whew!
Aren't you the lucky one.'

'What do you mean, Lucky?
Everyone in this place,
Is a coat riding, glad hand shaking...
Opportunist!
Fools,
Invited to feel comfortable.
In a pretentiously acceptable setting.'

'So...
That is not a costume you are wearing?
As if a 'commoner'.
Who mingles around.
Before providing the entertainment?'

'LOL...
NO!
I am the host.
I'm the one,
Who invited you all to my home.
Hopefully to enjoy being phony together!
You folks are hysterical.
FUNNY TOO!
Come with me.
I want to introduce you to your soul mate!
You two share ways of insulting people,
With tremendous ease.
LOL...
I love it.
Come.
Follow me!'
