DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT

You attended church on Sunday and listened to the Word, but man oh man come Monday you didn't practice what you heard.
Just the day before you had bowed on your knees.
Now you're doing whatever you please.
While you're leaning on your understanding
being wise in your own eyes
you're following satan, the master of disguise.
He will tempt you, tease you, and fill your head with lies.
One day you'll discover what you're doing isn't wise.
As you reflect on your life there's chaos everywhere.
Yes, you had your fun while you just didn't care.
Now the loneliness is so hard to bear.
You realize it's time to change your ways.
Only God knows the length of your days.
Dedicate your life to Jesus.  He'll renew your mind.
One path you must embrace and leave the other behind.
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart.  And lean not to your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."

A wise person once said freedom isn't free. This motivated me to join the Air Force. My goal was to defend our freedom. While stationed in Turkey, I toured the ruins where Paul the Apostle preached. Right then I knew what my next mission was. Since that day I have continued to learn and share the message of the cross through poetry. Thank you more…
