Dvorak's Gazebo

There's a place I go - it's deep in my mind.
Dvorak's gazebo - a Sylvan abode.
In my verdant field, soft peace I there find.
And tears and heartache - they all do erode.

I guard it with pride, this heavenly field,
And 'midst all the green, I find my delight.
With secret desires, my heart it doth yield,
To treasures of love, my mind's shining light.

'Neath skies, silver-blue, I feel the warm glow,
That takes me - makes me - serene in my love.
I dream and I beam and sing my rondeau,
The joy that I find - it's my treasure trove.

The winds never blow to ruffle my mind.
For in this sweet place my cares fall behind.
