Hi! My name is Musa Mnguni and I’m an aspiring poet. I’ve been through some really dark times in my life and poetry has always been the best way for me to express myself and cope with all of my emotions. This is my first time submitting, let alone sharing, my private work, but I believe that there are other people, especially people of colour, in the world who feel exactly the way I feel. I want them to know that they’re not alone. They have a voice that deserves to be heard, and if I have to be that voice for the ones who have been silenced, then it would be my honour.
