Leroy. Let’s go!

All the neighbours know
And it’s well understood
If the gate is open just a crack, we will hear
hey Leroy, let’s go from Pat.
Leroy may hear the song of his master
But the more Pat sings
It just makes Leroy run faster.
He has to smell the smells
And pee on the trees
Sniffing the yard and looking for Luna’s treasures
Pat sings still louder hey Leroy let’s go!
The dog thinks this is the best pleasure
He doesn’t care if the boss will be late
He runs way past the garden gate
Hey Leroy- let’s go!
Leroy has ran down the road and across the tracks
He pays no mind to pats callings
His speed for running is at its max.
The trucks door is wide open
The motor has been running for quite a while.
Leroy sniffs for chipmunks
He sniffs for cats
In a matter of moments he has ran a mile.
Hey Leroy let’s go- a little more agitated from Pat.
Leroy’s ears perk up but he keeps running.
Hey Leroy,let’s go!
One final time, and he finds his spot in the truck.
The doors slams shut-
And the neighbors think what a silly mutt.
If there ever was a song of old soo road, it would be called -
Hey Leroy, let’s go !
