How, exactly, did you come to that conclusion? Correct me if I'm wrong but, to my knowledge, we never met.

Thank you so much. That was the first and, as of now, the only poem I've written. A friend convinced me to try writing more; maybe you'll see something new soon.
I very much enjoyed reading your work. Some of your poems ended abruptly... was that on purpose, or am I just not finding the rest of each?
I've always been fascinated by the way people once spoke and structured their sentences. I'm not an expert, but try to strive for perfect grammar. Having a thesaurus handy helps with finding the perfect words to express an emotion.
I like free verse because the poet is not constrained by the need for a rhyme or the meter.
The only things I would suggest are to write from your heart, don't force the rhyme, and use your thesaurus and a grammar guide to craft your poetry into what you feel is perfect. more »
