What lies within Pandora's box

Shannan Harrison 1986 (Maryland)

Thoughts are racing
Head is spinning
It's fight or flight time
Are my screams loud enough for you
Just cause I don't respond doesn't mean I didn't hear you
I am calculated with my response
Tiny flick of a cold tone barely nothing and you freak out
Yet you tell me you got this
I'm really questioning
Everything points elsewhere
Me trusting you is not key
What would you do  if it was you
Would you be so analytical still
So lost in your world your world you can't ever fix
My soul screams out in vain
What would you do if it was you
Would you be so full of judgement like you do
The more you see the more you dont stay
I'm ready for you to run
I've seen this all before with every excuse you give
Every time I open up some one runs
I'm better off quiet
Tried to give it all to you
Tried to keep it all inside but I can't
