this poem is magic!
i've read it many times during my life... and found out we are at such fork many many times... in fact we live to choose...

and the secret message is hidden in these lines:

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

one of the beauties of this poem is that it creates a perfect circle... It starts with daffodils (the real ones) and ends with daffodils (the thought of them)... thus creating a path for us to have a journey within... and aren't daffodils the symbol of introspection? wow! the tapestry of words, images and symbols is masterfully woven... more »

the poem starts bitterly but then you are drawn into a tapestry of beautiful words and images and sensations... where all you can taste is sweet...
