Analysis of WINNERS AND LOSERS

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

The storm is coming with the smell of rain and the sound of thunder as I keep dodging the bullets that begin to shoot at me with the bolts of lightning from Zeus himself.was it me that he was aiming at or would I have been a casualty of an ongoing war does anyone really speak of the sacred truth anymore?

There is nowhere to go yet I am not running scared for there needs to be some winners and losers. after all, are we not all saints and sinners? it really depends on the mask of the day we choose to wear. I will take my chance and roll the dice wishing that I roll snake eyes. a man can dream as I ride the lightning she has become my new lover underneath her glow I take cover
