Analysis of V. Borge. Never a sharper mind/ talent on piano.
Victor, the Great Dane.
Danish and out of
Wartime Occupation.
Ed Sullivan laughed with him…
Imagine, Ed laughed!
Followed much more fun his way.
Keyboard over-run.
But not until some spoofs
On opera, composer styles
Late guests down the aisles.
Fat opera women told
Hands off the Steinway.
Operas played at…
His Way.
Oh did I not mention?
He plays excellent music.
Eventually.
Crowds are in love with him.
His Punctuation language.
His impromptu Gypsy pieces.
His slipping off the bench.
His dodging “Autumn Leaves.”
His scarcely known operetta in the forest.
His joking about Mozart’s BUST.
(The Wife went all the way to the floor.)
