Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)
Would I Be Invisible (Bussokusekika)
I am not famous
I find solace in knowing
Nobody knows me
I can go out in public
Were I a well known poet
Would I be invisible

About this poem
I guess that fame has its price…The stars light up the night…In space which is dark and cold…I took a ride in a quest for a new sweater to keep me warm…I’m at La Cumbre Plaza…Who knows were the journey nay end…Quail and fish tacos may even be a possibility…Only time will tell…
