You are a glass mirror broken with many pieces despite your flaws I will love you without any reason; when ever you are down my arms are open in every season. My words to you are my bond while my actions will correspond with your very thought I'll remember the things you want in me, kindness, patience, genuineness and a sense of humor these are all the things that was taught to me. You are my world, you're my princess I will always show you kindness, with all my flaws you still love me lawlessly with no judgment you by my side feels like no commitment. I want to be all the things that brings you peace and grace, I want to be love by you in every way. These are the things I want in you

About this poem

it describes what a person is looking for in there partner, what love is all about and how it helps teaches the individual how to love. It was inspired by a few of my peers i went around and asked what do people look for in someone they love.

Odane Griffiths

I am Odane Griffiths, I am 24 years old. I was born in Jamaica but have been resided in Kelowna since I was 13 years old majority of my teenager years have spent in beautiful British Columbia. I like the city a lot and it has some amazing views and hiking trails. I have been writing poetry since I was little but never took it seriously I do not write every day but I would like to make it a every day hobby that I cater to help increase my writing abilities. I enjoy writing poetry and expressing my thoughts on a piece of paper; so it can paint a picture for my audience whom is reading and can feeling my emotions behind my words. I recently started a poetry page on Instagram Called Expressions_Through_Poetry my goal is to write as much poetry to use my platform to help people cope and they can use my words as an outlet to express love and respect to their friends, family and loved ones. more…
