the coastline paradox

paradox121 1995 (nowhere)

An ocean of nothing before me
Sea of everything asking why
I pace upon the beach
Each mile minute, each pace still small

It's with almost zero I count
Acounting for each grain of sand
Abandonly the coast grows vast

And I try to put it past me
We try and look upon that ocean
Motion as I begin pacing, counting carefully
Verily I find the pursuit of infinity
Divinity in the face of my ephemerality

Water sways in totality seren
And I become swallowed by the marine
