ADDICTION

Andrew Sheldrick 1987 (St.Catherines , Ontario)

-YOU'RE WORKING 12 HOURS, IN THE BLISTERING HEAT
- YOU'VE GOT 50 HOURS, BY THE END OF THE WEEK
- NOW FRIDAY HAS COME, AND IT'S TIME TO GET PAID,
-SO YOU TRY TO STAY STRAIGHT, AND NOT BE AFRAID
- YOUR INTENTIONS ARE GOOD, FOR THE THOUSAND YOU'VE BANKED
-SO YOU DECIDE ON A DRINK, BUT DON'T PLAN TO GET TANKED
-YOU HAVE ONE WITH THE BOSS ,AND SHOTS WITH THE BOYS
-YOU'VE FORGOTTEN THOSE THOUGHTS, YOUR PLANS BEEN DESTROYED
- THE PARTY HAS STARTED,ALONG WITH YOUR CASH
-THREE HUNDREDS BEEN WASTED, LEAVING SEVEN ON STASH
-YOUR GETTING RIGHT LOADED, YOU THINK ABOUT KOKE
-THE LINES SCREAMING SNIFF ME, YOUR VIEN WANTS A POKE
-YOUR HEARTS RACING NOW, FROM THE CRACK THAT YOU SMOKED
- SO YOU SHOOT THE BROWN DOPE, CUZ THE DOWN HELPS YOU COPE
- YOUR FEELING SO GREAT, YOU BUY FOR THE ROOM
-  THAT SEVEN HUNDREDS NOW GONE, YOUR LEFT WITH JUST TWO
- YOUR NOW IN A CRACKSHACK, SURROUNDED WITH FEENS
-  YOUR DOING YOUR LAST WACK ,WHILE REALIZING THE SCENE
- YOUR SHOCKED AND DISMAYED ,AS YOU LOOK IN DISGUST
-  IN THE HOUSE THAT YOU STAYED, THAT YOU NEVER DISCUSSED.
- YOU CALL FOR A CAB,  CHECK YOUR POCKETS AND  CRY
-  YOUVE GOT 20 LEFT, TO PAY FOR THE DRIVE
- AS YOU PAY FOR YOUR RIDE ,YOU REGRET THE WHOLE NIGHT
- YOUR LEFT WITH JUST FIVE, AND A FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE
