Mother
Om Khanapurkar 2009 (Mumbai)
Of all the flowers on this earth,
The rose is one of infinite worth.
Its velvety petals come in every hue,
Captivating hearts with a pleasing view.
From deep reds of love to pinks of grace,
It’s colors reflect life's every phase.
In every garden, it stands tall and proud,
A symbol of passion, love, and devotion, unbound.
A rose can bring both smiles and tears,
Filling hearts with hopes and fears.
It speaks the language of the heart,
Echoing emotions that set us apart.
But beneath its beauty and fragrant grace,
Lies a thorny guard that gives it space.
A reminder that even beauty can be tough,
And that love, like a rose, can be enough.
For every rose, from bud to full bloom,
Tells a story of life, love, and doom.
As we walk life's garden path,
May we cherish the rose's craft.
For it is a symbol of all that's true,
A reminder of love, that's forever anew.
So let us celebrate this flower so fine,
On this day of mothers, so loving and divine.
