Haiku
Autumn changes leaves
like moving changes a world;
same trees, bigger sky.

About this poem

Written in a card for the author's grandmother, who has a tradition of exchanging Halloween cards every year, but will be moving away before the next Halloween card is sent. The author is upset that she is moving away, but knows it's not her fault, and plans to visit by air travel when possible.
