Watching People

James Vincient Johnson 1952 (Algoma WV)

Watching People

I have been watching people
They are interested in every endeavor
No matter what their behavior
People will always be people
I have seen the bold and wise
Shown through a mighty disguise
I have seen the meek and weak
Crawling to get to a higher peak
I have seen babies crying and dying
Not from illness but from cheating and lying
I have seen the Godly and not-so-Godly
Truly a non-interesting sight hardly
Their actions may be just or unjust
But still, people are just people
That may or may not be hard to trust
So watching people is an experience
You all will learn to respect their silence
