The Known Stranger

He feels like a Known Stranger to me,
Yes, the words Known and Stranger
stand at the two ends of the world
staring at each other with agony;
But the two ends of the string has found
each other's ends surprisingly
and He feels like a Known Stranger to me.

It has been like a year I have seen him,
we stand far away from each other
but the motive of standing at the same place
remains same with passing days every morning.
We board the same bus and our destination is same
Here, I met the Known Stranger swiftly.

I call him a Stranger, as I do not know his name,
neither do I know his favorites
nor if he feels the same as I feel for him
a Known Stranger whose presence makes me
feel comfortable and safe every day.

Your smile and kindness seems to heal my old yet fresh wounds,
Your most expensive possession is the kindness you hold in your heart
which makes me feel you as a old known friend.
Your soft voice adds a melody in the air
your eyes filled with love adds colors bright and red.

The day did come when we exchanged words,
random though like the bus is arriving friend
to do you take the same bus every day.
A little conversation made us known to each other
Now, I cherish your smile which you do every day
after we board the bus and take our respective seats
far away from each other
just how we stand at the bus stand waiting for the bus
but you seem to be a Known Stranger to me, friend.
