The Pen Will Flow

Pastoral
I wonder what I am
Today and tomorrow.
Will I be a hero
Or will I fall to zero?

Will today I sing
In heaven, or tomorrow
Will I be thrown
Into a fiery oven?

I don’t give up
On the Bible.
I do works and my
Faith is not dead.

Will I find one day
That I have bled and
The ink turns red?
I’ll jot down what fled?

Yes and no, I’ll write
The good and avoid
The bad, but save the
Ugly so I don’t go mad.

Now the pen will flow
Where I don’t go
Until all is written
Down and all I know.
