Echoes of Friendship

Mayor of Lake Jackson's heart,
Your legacy forever etched in time,
A servant to community and love,
Your spirit, an enduring chime.

As you embark on this new journey,
Into the embrace of distant lands,
Know that your presence will be missed,
Yet your legacy forever stands.

May the road ahead be gentle,
With grace to ease each mile,
And may the love that surrounds you,
Forever lift your spirit and make you smile.

Though distance may keep us apart,
Our hearts remain forever near,
For in the tapestry of life we weave,
Your friendship is a treasure most dear.
