Emotional Intelligence

My slang I used had a mild twang like the southern slang,
No disheartening verse or a curse that stir distraught,
Instead from a caged room in a jailhouse block,
I learned to put my jaws on lock,
No knock, knock jokes to unlock in the block,
And rowdy moments learned to intervene without causing a scene instead I got socked,
Obscenities from my mouth used was an empowered thought that couldn't be said in words,
With no errors thrown and solved like a puzzle with slurs,
No cause to pause when fun was in the middle no riddle,
Now I pedal the petal on pavement with no nettle just to settle the unsettled each step made to unclutter the cluttered just to reach a piece of mind unknown if possible,
So rarely these days do I slang which occur less often,
Just to convey the expression of an expressed emotion I don't know how to describe as often,
In happiness, sadness, anger and distress derogatory words used to fly by in finesse,
Even my hate was shown in no fancy clause,
That why I progress to educate the lack of identification of an emotion to solve in every cause,
The patience to wait and address the emotion unknown to leave from the basic and better advance this so called psychological words that at times I bemoan.
