I was standing with other class mates,
in the school assembly hall
and singing with others.

My eyes were closed,
Hands were stretched.
Pair of legs were joined.

I heard the shuffling of legs
and whispering in the air.
I found with inquisitive eyes.

Few of us were inattentive.
Few were standing awkwardly
but all together the chorus was attractive.

Still I can hear the sounds
When I am with silence.
I can visualise the prayer hall.
when I close my eyes.
