The Journey To Loving Someone Other.

It took me a while to learn how to love
It took me, my whole soul, to learn to trust
It took me grains of salt to regret what I’ve done
It took me mountains and mountains of energy to let go of the past
It took me planets and planets to learn I am enough
It took me heavens and hells  to throw it all away
Yet it took me nothing to give it all to you
So please protect it with locks and safes
And throw the key away
In some desolated place
Where no one can have my heart again.
I can only love once and not one more
Because my heart belongs to someone not too far
My mind will take me places and keep me isolated
But I will shiver off my ice again and again
For my one true love that shows me, he cares
I look cold from the outsides to keep my self safe
I have suffered too much to let me think the same
All it takes is a couple of tries and trust me I will not deny you from my life
I pick and choose because I know who suits
I will cut off anyone who tries to show me hurt
Because not everyone on this earth is enough
What they call is one mans trash is another man's treasure
Is a man that plays with someone heart but found someone else
To knock on their door
Though I have never loved someone the way  I love you
I give you everything because I chose you
Remember I will not stay for someone who Is cheap
Because my worth is not worth someone's tricks
Treat me right and if you treat me wrong
There will be no future for us
And there will not be you anymore.
