Jeremiah had a bulldog

Jeremiah had a bulldog,
An old white car,
And a comfortable bed,
But he had no coffee maker.

He had sunlit yellow hair,
Twilight blue-gray eyes,
And a radio voice
That could melt your knees

He had PopTarts for breakfast,
A cappuccino,
A bearclaw,
And my undivided attention.

He had a desk I never saw,
Dust on his floor he did not want me to see,
And a clock that talked!!
