I have been a member of poetry.com since 2001 or so, and I absolutely love this site. I think it is very encouraging to amateur writers. This is such a great way to express ourselves in ways that we typically wouldn't.All of my poems are 100% original. Though some of my poems are very personal, in most of my works I try to place myself into the thoughts and emotions of others, mostly the less fortunate, and try to express how they must deal with their trials and tribulations. Take what you see all around you, and somehow make it your own...whether it is ugly or beautiful, sad or happy...it is life.
