Analysis of Wisdom
Joe Strickland 1986 (Hobbysville, SC)
To follow your own advice,
Is a mark of wisdom,
A level of understanding,
That comes from within.
It takes humility,
To see the truth,
In the words you speak,
And the actions you choose.
It requires trust,
In your own intuition,
To make decisions,
And find your direction.
Wisdom is not a mountain,
To climb or conquer,
But an inner journey,
Of growth and wander.
Listen to your voice,
And take heed of your own words,
In them lies the power,
To achieve what you deserve.
