Analysis of Dream

Joe Strickland 1986 (Hobbysville, SC)

Love may draw
The naysayers' frown,
And magic lacks
Belief a bit.
As I dream,
I'm left alone.
Please don't wake me
From this blissful fantasy.
I'm content
With the joy I've found.
