Analysis of M.S.
I have a disease
That slowly eats away
At times it can displease
My body does nothing but betray
I used to enjoy a long walk
Or a hike or climb
Now I feel like a corn stalk
Covered in grime
Stuck in a chair
Crying all the time
Not even brushing my hair
Changed overnight like a dime
Now I sit here and think
What good am I to you or me
Then I just sink
Into a depression, where I feel I should be
But I realized that I am stronger
Then this disease
I been fighting way longer
Sometimes I just want to sneeze
I will beat this feeling inside
I will get back to me
It is going to be a ride
To get me back the way I want to be
I am up for the challenge
As long as you are too
I may have to scavenge
Through my past of blue
All the feelings of hate
That I have deep within me
That continue to grate
Until I can just be
