Analysis of DUST OFF THE BIBLE

DUST OFF THE BIBLE

There's a time to fight, a time for peace
A time to roar in anger, and for words to cease
At all times, may His glory increase
Praise to our Prince of Peace

There was a time I was a soldier at war
Saw things I wish I could see no more
A time my grandkids played on the floor
Looking at them, my spirits soar

And every day we fight for survival
As we eagerly await His arrival
Oh Lord! We pray for a revival
As dust collects upon the Bible

Because day by day we grow
We ebb with the tides flow
Oh God, help us now to show
The Salvation we've come to know

To Jesus all Praise we sing
Holy, Holy is our Eternal King
The sounds of earth still ring
Our past tries to destroy everything

And every day we fight for survival
As we eagerly await His arrival
Oh Lord! We pray for a revival
As dust collects upon the Bible

You know a building is not the church
It's not for a pastor our spirits search
For Jesus comes to heal our hurts
Where He is,  there's the Church

You're waiting patiently for Him to come
I have a secret that's known to some
When we Worship, we are the Kingdom
And there our Lord's sure to come

And every day we fight for survival
As we eagerly await His arrival
Oh Lord! We pray for a revival
As dust collects upon the Bible

You pray for the church to awake
To revive and the world to take
But brother you're making one mistake
Only walking with Jesus, will chains break

I believe we are a chosen generation
We can rise up and shake the nations
Stand in the Word, and shout Salvation!
Like an arrow the Spirit sparks revolution

And the Lord provides for our survival
As we proclaim the Spirit's arrival
In our hearts starts a true revival
As we pray, and dust off our Bible
AMEN
