Analysis of MAKE THE WORLD STUMBLE
Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)
MAKE THE WORLD STUMBLE
The winds of change blow
Blowing through my hair
The race seems to slow
When I'm bowing in prayer
I'm still so I can know
The Power my God will show
Hear the laughter of the giant
As I arise from my knees
Though his taunts are defiant
My God has heard my pleas
And I shout Glory to my Lord!
God's Word will be my sword
I see the storm rise against me
My Lord I'll arise in you
I stand against Hell's fury
Knowing You'll take me through
Weapons formed are going to fail
Stand in the Truth we tell
Trials, they're sure to come
Like our Lord we suffer our pain
But as we point to God's kingdom
We can only live or die and gain
Let our lives always shout to testify
Of Jesus Christ whether we live or die
So come you mountains, crumble down
The Fire will burn this world to ash
The seas rise up and hopes can drown
But faith, my faith will always last
The more they try to force our silence
The higher faith lifts us above the giants
Feel the wind, as it starts to blow
Trials fires burn beyond sight
Stand saint, in Faith to grow
The battle is the Lord's that you fight
We soar as mountians crumble
Faith that makes the world stumble
AMEN

About this poem
I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of His resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Phillipians 3:10-12
