naked under the stars

Richard Poor 2956 (Somewhere)

it's like this
twilight heralds
colors royal
stars in the night
shine on my soul
a million voices calling
yet I am alone
on this earth
I begged for more
more than expected
life and death
hand in hand
teething
on edges
I honed.
