NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE
In the land of the dead
Nobody ever gets out alive,
Only toxic plant forms grow
And only worthless things can thrive.
In a place where no-one goes by choice
And nobody would ever call home,
Maleficent creatures are abounding
So never dare go outside alone.
It's a place where only lost souls go
And the successful carefully avoid,
Where red sandy deserts surround
As well as evil forests of mutant cactoids.
Foul carnivores and omnivores
Run hunting through the darkness,
Looking for living things to eat
While running through the starkness.
In a land where no-one dares to hope
Nobody can get out alive,
The Grim Reaper's persistent call
Makes it difficult to even survive.
In the land of the dead
Where nobody even dares to dream,
Every movement leads to terror
And every sound could make you scream.
When nightmares are a way of life
There's little chance by night or day,
And in this land of broken promises
Only melancholy ever holds sway.
In this place of ugly things
Where no sign of beauty does abound,
Only wickedness fills the night
And all the innocents go to ground.
