My dear sweet mother

Ode
You’re so annoying yet so sweet
All you do to us is just beat
You tell us that this is all for our good
We have to listen to you that we should
You really do have two personalities
And only of us, every day feels that fatality
For the number of “I hate you’s” I said to you
It’s all out of anger and not one was true.

This poem was written in fond memory of my mother when I reminisced by my angry teenage years
