FALLEN

Pheliswa 2001 (North west)

Tried, but failed
Cried, and now am tired
Tied up myself to the
Roots of my heart

But they seem all so weak
To hold all my life
Yet tried to wake up
But can't stop dreaming

No hand to pull me out
Out of this misery
As darkness surrounds me
I wonder how will I ever be seen

Fallen, but trying to pick myself up
I keep on failing but I ain't losing hope
Was told, what's bad today
Won't be the same tomorrow

About this poem

When loss hit you and you start feeling so drained, all alone, just everything around you stops existing
