Prisoned

you took advantage of my kindness,
my body, my family, my suicidal thoughts,
you took control of my life,
my actions, my words, my every move,
you took the wheel into your hands,
praying not to crash,
not to be ridden with a burden of the past,
erupting into different colors,
paralyzed at the feeling,
everything around me crumbling.
trying to catch ahold,
of any piece of reality,
while you pin me down,
trying not to let me escape,
your prison of “love”
